Kym Lowry and Shaye Marshall scored goals as the University of Colorado women’s soccer team defeated Wyoming 2-0 Sunday in Boulder.

In their season opener, the Buffaloes outshot the Cowgirls 23-7. Colorado leads the all-time series against Wyoming 8-1-1, and the Buffs remain undefeated at home against the Cowgirls (0-2) with a 5-0 record.

UNC women stay undefeated.

Kimmie Fielder and Ariel Cook scored goals as the Northern Colorado women’s soccer team beat Air Force 2-0 in Greeley.

Fielder put the Bears (2-0) on the scoreboard first, scoring in the 29th minute, and Cook added a penalty kick for the second goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Kelly Stambaugh recorded seven saves for the Falcons (1-1).
