Now that doctors have reportedly concluded that Lindsay Lohan was misdiagnosed, the troubled actress is said to be seething mad at the court system and looking for an apology or restitution.

According to TMZ, doctors at UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Westwood evaluated Lohan and do not believe she has bipolar disorder or an addiction to methamphethamine. In addition, she was reportedly misdiagnosed as having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and given the prescription drug Adderall, which may have contributed to a string of manic side effects causing her unusual behavior.

Since she apparently doesn’t have a problem, LiLo is looking for restitution for having been sentenced 90 days behind bars and three months in rehab for violating probation on a 2007 drunk driving charge. Due to overcrowding, the 24-year-old actress was granted early release from jail after two weeks and is currently serving her stint her rehab.

“Lindsay is fuming – she is really upset that the courts put her through all this,” a source told Fox 411’s Pop Tarts.

The source said Lohan was reportedly “exploring options” to obtain some form of apology or compensation, however taking legal action against the courts would probably be unlikely.

“No judge or prosecutor could be sued under these circumstances, they have absolute immunity,” Santa Monica-based Criminal Defense Attorney, Steve Cron, told Fox. “Judge Revel formulated her opinion of Lindsay based on the information she had at the time from another program. The judge could still be dissatisfied with the report from UCLA and seek independent opinions or insist Lindsay be enrolled in other programs.”

Brad Pitt says BP’s Gulf oil spill has changed his opposition to the death penalty.

Speaking during a documentary on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor says that although he opposes capital punishment, he would make a special exception for BP officials if given the opportunity, according to USA Today.

“I was never for the death penalty before – I am willing to look at it again,” Pitt states, referring to those responsible for the disastrous April 20 oil rig explosion and subsequent spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The actor took part in director Spike Lee‘s new film, “If God Is Willing And Da Creek Don’t Rise,” a four-hour follow-up to his 2006 film “When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts.”

Pitt, 46, has been a longtime advocate of the restoration of his adopted hometown of New Orleans.

Not only does he own a home in the city’s French Quarter with partner Angelina Jolie, the actor has also been heavily involved with rebuilding sustainable homes in the damaged city with his Make It Right organization.

The new documentary, which marks the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, premieres Aug.23 on HBO.

Lady Gaga has surpassed Britney Spears as the most followed person on Twitter — for now.

She has more than 5.7 million followers. She overtook Spears over the weekend and posted a video late Saturday on YouTube.

Gaga called her fans her “little monsters” as she thanked them for beginning “my reign as Twitter queen.” Spears, Ashton Kutcher, Ellen DeGeneres and an account run by President Barack Obama‘s political organization, Organizing for America, all have more than 5 million followers.

The most followed title often shifts rapidly, and fans frequently organize to boost their favorite’s tally.

Kristin Davis, the ex-madam who supplied call girls for Eliot Spitzer when he was attorney general and governor, has gotten herself on the November ballot to run for New York governor.

Davis procured 23,000 signatures – more than the 15,000 required – in support of her candidacy as an independent challenger to Andrew Cuomo, according to the New York Post.

She’ll be the first woman in New York history to run for the office while on probation (for one count of promoting prostitution in the third degree). Among those who signed in support of her pro-marijuana, pro-gay marriage candidacy were comic Prof. Irwin Corey and “True Blood”s crazy vampire king Denis O’Hare.
