Booths representing dozens of local green businesses will populate the streets of of the River North Art District today as Green Spaces Colorado, publishers of a map to eco-minded outfits locally, hosts the Green Route Festival — “Celebrating Local Food, Music, Art & Culture.” Performance painting and live performances by Rouge, Air Dubai, the Still City and others round out the entertainment. 2-9 p.m. 26th and Walnut streets. Spice of life
Today and Sunday. Fresh roasted green chiles, Spanish Colonial art and music, kid’s activities including piñatas, museum tours, Aztec and flamenco dancers, dance lessons and a chili cook-off are all part of the Chile Harvest Festival happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this weekend at the Heritage Center. Co-sponsored by the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council, this family-friendly cultural event honors the seasonal chile pepper harvest. Admission is $2-$5 and benefits local arts programs.
