GREELEY, Colo.—Two people are dead after the motorcycle they were on hit a guardrail on the U.S. 34 West exit ramp near Greeley.
Lt. Carl Alm of the Greeley Police Department says the crash occurred late Sunday afternoon and forced the closure of the ramp for several hours.
The likely driver was identified as 46-year-old Jonathan Heardt who is believed to be from Milliken. The name of a 49-year-old woman hasn’t been released.
Alm says it’s still not clear what caused the crash.
