DENVER—Dozens of cats that were among 157 seized from a Wyoming home are being brought to Fort Collins and Denver to be put up for adoption.

The Humane Society of the United States says some of the cats were suffering from respiratory infections and some were emaciated when they were taken from a home in Powell, Wyo. The Denver Dumb Friends League in Denver says some of the cats will be immediately available for adoption, while others need to be receive medical care first.

The Denver Dumb Friends League is getting 61 cats and the Larimer Humane Society in Fort Collins will receive 20.
