The Naked Foot 5K
Sept. 12: Bare feet or “minimalist footwear” are required for this benefit for Soles4Souls. Thirty percent of the run is on a sidewalk and the rest is on grass. The cost is $30 by Wednesday on , $35 on race day for the 5K. There’s also a 1 Miler all grass race ($15) and a free 1K kids fun run. Runners are asked to bring a pair of gently-used shoes to donate to Soles4Souls () that collects and distributes shoes to people in need around the world. “Denver’s Biggest Winner” Weight Loss & Fitness Contest
Sept. 13: The Power Method, a fitness program and studio in Denver, is hosting a six-week body transformation contest open to teams of five people. Choose from three fitness packages: the basic Motivation Package at $50 per person, the All In Package (for current clients) at $99 per team member, and the All In Package (for new clients) at $150 per person.
