The four Amur tiger cubs born May 31 at the Denver Zoo can now be seen in their outside habitat.
The tiger quadruplets — females Zaria and Akasha and males Nikolai and Thimbu — will be roaming their outside home at the Feline II Building, according to the Denver Zoo.
The best time to see them is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The cubs are the offspring of mom Koshka and dad Waldemere. Waldemere was born in Denver in 2003; Koshka came from Connecticut in 2008 to be his mate under the recommendation of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums species-survival plan.
Amur tigers, once known as Siberian tigers, are critically endangered, with a population of less than 400 in the wild, a zoo release said.
