Denver designer Melissa May has a following for her girly dresses, feminine fabrics and winsome designs. She’ll show more than 20 new looks for spring 2011 at a benefit show Saturday at the Historic Elitch Carousel Pavilion, West 38th Avenue and Tennyson Street. She says the designs are circus-inspired and they’ll be serving circus-themed treats to guests. Music will be by The Postman. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but organizers are asking for donations for the Elitch Gardens Theatre Foundation. Sponsors include The Fabric Lab and Disguises Costume.
