Colorado has more than $768 million worth of energy projects, tax credits and grants from the federal stimulus package, according to a government report released Thursday.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is funding $90 billion in projects nationwide.

Colorado’s share includes $585.6 million for 115 approved projects, and 62 applicants have been approved for clean-energy tax credits and grants, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.

The money in Colorado also is expected to help weatherize about 10,500 homes for low-income residents, and includes $4.7 million for rebates on energy-efficient appliances.
