Today and Sunday. There’s always an eyeful at the Denver Gem and Mineral Show, now in its 43rd year. Besides being a chance to ogle exotic minerals and fossils, the show features a walking dinosaur skeleton and museum exhibits. Celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace at “A Peace Tour on Tennyson Street.” Beginning at 2 p.m., businesses around this inviting urban entertainment and shopping district in the Berkeley neighborhood will host music, food, carnival events, face-painting, live demonstrations, art auctions and more.
