Mark Ingram, Alabama: Mr. Heisman, right, was back from knee surgery and rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns in the top- ranked Crimson Tide’s 62-13 pounding of Duke.
Denard Robinson, Michigan: The sophomore quarterback had 345 total yards and accounted for three touchdowns, helping the Wolverines hold off UMass 42-37. Robinson threw for 241 yards and hit Darryl Stonum on a pair of touchdown passes.
Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State: The Buckeyes’ star QB completed a school-record 16 consecutive passes on the way to 235 yards and two TDs in a 43-7 rout of Ohio. He also ran for a touchdown.
Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma State: In a record-setting performance, Weeden passed for 409 yards (23-of-32) and six TDs in a 65-28 rout of Tulsa. OSU had a school-record 722 total yards. Weeden’s effort ranked fourth on OSU’s single-game passing chart, even though he left after one series in the third quarter.
