On the first Sunday in October, the Nationals’ season will end and pitcher Drew Storen’s college life will restart. Storen will go back to Stanford University — returning to pursue an achievement uncommon among major- leaguers: a degree from a four-year university. He left school after his sophomore season to enter last year’s draft and still has six quarters left from his diploma in product design. “I’ve grown up a lot in the past year,” Storen said. “I feel like I’m going back to high school or something — kind of go back to that different attitude. It’ll be fun. It’s going to be great.”
