COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A memorial service is planned for two Colorado Springs teens who died after they were pulled unresponsive from a lake.

Victorino DeJesus Martinez and Juan Neri Seguro died Monday. Both were 18.

The service is scheduled for Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Hundreds of people attended a candlelight vigil on Tuesday at Harrison High School, where the teens attended classes.

A witness told The Gazette of Colorado Springs the teens had been swimming at Prospect Lake in Memorial Park.

Some witnesses said both boys were swimming when they floundered. Others said one boy made it to shore and that a third boy perished while trying to rescue the one who remained in the lake.
