A man was shot multiple times in Aurora late last night, police said, and the shooter is at large.
Police were called at about 11:25 p.m. to the 1150 block of South Fairplay Circle on reports of “shots fired and a man down,” according to an Aurora Police Department media release.
Officers found a man in his late 20s, outside the front door of a home, who had been shot several times.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he’s in critical condition, police said.
Witnesses told investigators they heard what sounded like an argument just before shots were fired.
Police do not have a description of the shooter.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Det. Hershel Stowell at 303 739-6079.
