The cars were lined up at Colorado high schools and cop shops Saturday morning as part of the first-ever nationwide Drug Enforcement Administration’s “Take Back” prescription drug campaign, 9News reports. There were about 4,000 drop-off locations nationwide, with 90 sites in Colorado.

“We’ve just had them stored for a long time, some of them are from 2006 or 2007, that we’ve held on to because we didn’t know how to get rid of them,” Betty Michael said as she dropped off prescriptions.

“We’ve seen everything from strong medications like fentanyl, Vicodin; you name the prescription drug, we’ve seen it today,” Dan McCormick, a DEA diversion investigator, told 9News.
