Superior Town Manager Scott Randall left his post earlier this week, after signing a separation agreement with town trustees Monday night.
Mayor Andrew Muckle described the departure as “mutually agreed upon” arrangement by both Randall and the town’s elected leaders.
The mayor said some of the new trustees elected in April — in addition to existing members of the board — didn’t get along with Randall and found him to be brusque and curt.
“He has more of an East Coast personality than a West Coast personality,” Muckle said. “His style was very matter-of-fact and full steam ahead when he’s on a project.”
