Well into his career at Washington, Mullen’s Devin Aguilar continues to be a mainstay in the Huskies’ offense. Through three games this season, he is second on the team in receptions (13) and receiving yards (148) and scored a touchdown against Syracuse, the Huskies’ only win this season. He has played in 25 of 27 games since getting on the field as a true freshman in 2008.

Alex Shackleton, Michigan State: The senior is in his fourth season as the Spartans’ starting long snapper. The Summit High grad from Breckenridge was a walk-on but was awarded a scholarship before the 2008 season. And yes, he was in on the Spartans’ fake field goal Sept. 18 that beat Notre Dame in overtime.
