A pedestrian was injured this morning when he was hit by a vehicle on West Colfax Avenue.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Colfax and Harlan Street in Lakewood, said Steve Davis, a Lakewood Police Department spokesman.
The man, who was bleeding from his head and an arm, was taken to a local hospital.
Police on the scene believe his injuries were not life-threatening.
The driver stopped after the accident, which remains under investigation.
