GREELEY, Colo.—Economic development officials say an Illinois-based company plans to open a call center in Evans, Colo., that would employ about 500 people.
Weld County’s economic development arm Upstate Colorado says 250 jobs should be added by early December, and the rest would be added by February 2011.
Afni Inc. is seeking to fill entry-level, support and management positions. The Greeley Tribune reports that a job fair is scheduled Tuesday in Evans.
Afni, based in Bloomington, Ill., also has operations in Alabama, Arizona, Kentucky, Missouri and Texas.
