Getting your player ready...
Coming off a career game last week against Stanford, Oregon wide receiver D.J. Davis is becoming a staple in the Ducks’ potent offense. In the 52-31 win against then-No. 9 Stanford, the senior from Montbello High had a career-best six catches for a career-high 64 yards. His 25-yard TD catch early in the fourth quarter gave the Ducks a 45-31 lead. He has 15 catches for 143 yards this season. It was a bit of redemption for Davis, whose sophomore season ended after tearing knee ligaments against Stanford. And he knows how to say the right things. When asked after beating Stanford about a national championship run, Davis told reporters: “It’s too early to be talking about any of that.”
