ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—First lady Michelle Obama continues her national campaign swing Thursday with a stop in suburban Denver for Sen. Michael Bennet.
The first lady is expected to tell voters at a fundraising luncheon that it would be a mistake to return Republicans to power next month.
“Mrs. O” has been a powerful fundraiser for the Democrats as she returns to the campaign trail. She stopped in Milwaukee Wednesday for Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold, and her speech raised at least $250,000 for his campaign.
Michelle Obama also plans campaign stops in Illinois, Washington, California and Connecticut.
Bennet’s campaign says the luncheon is at a private home in Englewood but hasn’t said how much they hope to raise.
