A Broomfield County Court judge on Friday scheduled the arraignment of a man accused of killing another man outside a Broomfield tavern on Aug. 22.
Arvada resident Matt Joe Weber, 31, will be in court again on Dec. 9 for his arraignment on a charge of first-degree murder.
He is accused of fatally stabbing Matias Mondragon, 31, after an altercation that one witness attributed to the fact that Mondragon was gay.
Adams County district attorney spokeswoman Krista Flannigan said previously that there was not evidence to charge Weber with a hate crime.
