CENTENNIAL, Colo.—A man prosecutors say caused a fatal wreck during a street race in Aurora has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Authorities say 36-year-old Benny Gora Sitinjak was weaving in and out of traffic and driving at least 73 mph in a 40 mph zone when his Jeep Cherokee hit the vehicle driven by 63-year-old Walter Olenski. The crash happened on July 2009.
Arapahoe County jurors found Sitinjak guilty of vehicular homicide in August. He was sentenced Tuesday.
