, the annual wintertime rock series in the posh Eagle County resort town, announced its line-up for December 6-12. And damn is it smokin’.
In my book, 2010 is the event’s strongest line-up to date. On Thursday Dec. 9, Beastie Boys DJ/master turntablist will warm things up with something the Snow Daze crew is billing, The Rolling Stone Magazine Club Vail Street Party. And it only gets better after that.
On Friday Dec. 10, alt-country troubadour Dwight Yoakam will rock the town square with some honky and some tonk. On Saturday Dec. 11, will bring it’s mellow, radio-friendly grooves to the village outpost. And indie rock heroes will close things out on Sunday Dec. 12. Gauging from Weezer’s most recent Colorado date — at this summer’s Mile High Music Festival — the band is on fire, regardless of .
Kudos to the Snow Daze crew. Now we just need some snow.
