DENVER—Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet is starting a three-day bus tour to make closing arguments in his neck-and-neck contest against Republican Ken Buck.
Bennet leaves from Denver Friday morning and has six stops planned. He starts in Greeley and winds up Friday night in Grand Junction. Bennet also has stops in Fort Collins, Longmont, Boulder and Broomfield.
Bennet was appointed to the Senate seat last year and is waging his first election campaign. Polls show the contest too close to call as the campaign enters its final weekend.
Buck is in Colorado Springs Friday talking to military retirees.
