The Denver Coroner’s Office has identified the body of a 27-year-old man who was shot to death while sitting in a car parked in Garfield Park earlier in the month.
Santiago Gutierrez-Hernandez of Denver was discovered on Oct. 17 on the 1100 block of South King Street with a gunshot wound to the chest, said Michelle Weiss-Samaras, spokeswoman for the Denver Coroner’s Office.
She said on Thursday that the manner of death is homicide.
