Southwest Airlines will offer Wi-Fi on its aircraft at an introductory flat rate of $5 per flight for any device or flight length, the Dallas-based carrier announced Thursday.
Southwest began testing Row 44’s satellite-based Wi-Fi on four planes in 2009. Southwest said 32 of the 550-plane fleet are equipped with Wi-Fi.
