Last week: Swept by Minnesota, 4-1 and 9-4. This week: Series with Denver (3-3-2, 2-1-1 WCHA) on Friday (Denver) and Saturday (Colorado Springs). Comment: Fabulous freshman Jaden Schwartz already has seven goals, but sophomore goalie Joe Howe (.894 save percentage) is having a tough time keeping the puck out of the Tigers’ net.
3. Air Force (1-4, 1-2 AHA)
Last week: Idle (previously split with American International, 5-3 loss and 12-0 win). This week: Hosts Mercyhurst (0-4-1, 0-2 AHA) on Friday and RIT (2-4-1, 1-0 AHA) on Sunday. Comment: The Falcons need to take care of AHA business before big nonleague games against Colorado College (Nov. 12) and Yale (Nov. 14).
