ATLANTA—The Mega Millions jackpot is expected to grow to an estimated $——— million for —————— after no one matched all six numbers in Tuesday’s drawing.
The winning numbers were 1, 3, 12, 16 and 54. The Mega Ball was 46 and the Megaplier was 2.
Tickets matching all five numbers and the Mega Ball would have won or shared the jackpot worth $12 million.
Six tickets sold in California, New Jersey, New York and Texas matched the first five numbers only for prizes of $250,000 or more.
Colorado’s top prize was $300 each for five Megaplier tickets that matched other number combinations.
Mega Millions was created in 2002 and launched in Colorado earlier this year.
It’s now played in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
