Loveland police released a sketch of an alleged would-be robber who was scared off by a woman’s dog Friday night.
The 20-year-old woman was walking her dog near Southwest 14th Street and South Dotsero Avenue in Loveland at about 6:45 p.m., when a man in an older-model Honda Civic hatchback pulled over and demanded her wallet, police said.
The man had a knife and her dog lunged at him, she told police. Instead of taking the wallet, he drove off.
He was described as heavy-set, white, about 40 years old with blond or gray hair and a moustache.
