SHERIDAN, Wyo.—A company that specializes in vacuum technology is moving its headquarters to Sheridan.
Vacuum Technologies Corp. is now located in Centennial, Colo., and its move to Sheridan could create up to 50 new jobs. The company designs, manufactures and installs industrial and commercial vacuum systems.
It is building a new facility on the north side of Sheridan.
Vacutech co-owner and director John Tucker tells The Sheridan Press that the company plans to move some of its current 25 employees to Sheridan and create an additional 20 to 30 jobs.
He said the company will maintain some employees in Colorado to service its Denver area customers, but its headquarters will be in Sheridan.
Tucker added that the company plans to double in size in the next few years.
