A man shot several times about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday was apparently involved in an altercation with several people shortly before he was killed, Denver police said Wednesday.
Officers were called to 520 Lowell Blvd. on reports of the shooting. When they arrived, they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to John White, Denver police spokesman.
White said that at some point during the argument, shots were fired, hitting the victim, who was sitting in a vehicle. Howard Pankratz, The Denver Post
