Stay here because: You like a spiffed up historic hotel close to all the big-deal downtown attractions. (Think Hotel Monaco, with calmer decor.) Nice beds and linens and bonus points for being right across the street from Squatters brewpub, which serves food and adult beverages until midnight — at least — seven days a week. Tip: Ask for a room that faces away from the hideously illuminated Shilo Inn.
