FRISCO, Colo.—Breckenridge Ski Resort is opening for its 49th season.
The Summit Daily News reports that five lifts and 147 acres of ski runs will open at 9 a.m. on Friday.
Breckenridge hasn’t posted the depth of its base, but officials say more than 3 feet of snow fell in two recent storms and snowmaking machines have been running since Oct. 21.
