DENVER—In a Nov. 10 story about food assistance, The Associated Press reported that Weld Food Bank has offered to help people whose food stamps were delayed. The story should have noted that referrals are needed in such cases. Kevin Mullin, the food bank’s director of development, said people in that situation should first go to Weld County Human Services, where they can get a referral making them eligible to get help from the food bank.
