“Inferno” director Matthew Wilder may be ready to move on without Lindsay Lohan as porn star Linda Lovelace.

Wilder has stood by Lindsay throughout her legal troubles, but now Wilder told RadarOnline that he is developing a ‘Plan B’ if Lindsay can’t shoot the movie.

It’s the first sign that Lindsay may not do the film as originally planned.

The actress, 24, will be in rehab at least until Jan. 3 per court order. “Inferno” was seen as the comeback movie for Lindsay, who once earned $10 million a film.

However, Wilder told the website Lohan did not meet with him and his team when she returned to Hollywood over the weekend after getting a ‘day pass’ from the Betty Ford Center.

Wilder said, “You know we have been through a lot with this project, and although she is still our number one choice – we do have a Plan B if she cannot film ‘Inferno.'”

Lindsay has recently said she needs money and can’t afford to pay for her rehab stay.

Michael Douglas‘ ex-wife has lost a bid to cash in on his earnings from his recent “Wall Street” follow-up.

A Manhattan judge dismissed Diandra Douglas‘ lawsuit against the Academy Award-winning actor in a ruling made public Monday. The judge said the dispute doesn’t belong in a New York court because the former couple’s complex, multimillion-dollar divorce agreement was hashed out in Santa Barbara, Calif.

“After balancing all competing interests and factors, the California court is the more convenient forum for this matter to be tried,” state Supreme Court Justice Matthew F. Cooper wrote.

Michael Douglas was “very happy” with the New York lawsuit ruling, his lawyer, Marilyn B. Chinitz, said Monday. While it stuck to the question of where the case belongs, not who should win, Chinitz said she was confident the actor would prevail if his ex pursues it further. The couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years together.

Diandra Douglas’ lawyer said she plans to appeal. Both Douglases have homes in New York, and “the case should be decided here,” said the lawyer, Nancy Chemtob.

Diandra Douglas’ camp has said she should get half the actor’s earnings from this year’s “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” because their divorce deal gives her a share of proceeds from projects related to work he did when they were married, such as the original “Wall Street.” “Mr. Douglas is seeking to shirk his financial responsibility that was entered into when he signed this contract,” Chemtob said at an August hearing.

Jim Carrey apparently is serious about his new role: artist.

In real life.

Carrey, who’s shooting “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” in New York, has rented space at Julian Schnabel‘s studio, according to the New York Post.

“Jim is working on a large abstract canvas. His work is actually quite good,” a source told the paper.

The star has tweeted pictures of his abstract paintings. And in 2008, he told Oprah Winfrey, “I did a painting for Jenny (McCarthy, then his girlfriend), and it took me 50 hours.”

After eight years of being divorced, Britney Spears‘ parents are back together.

Lynne and Jamie Spears, who split in 2002, were spotted “being affectionate” with each other on Saturday at Los Angeles hotspot Boudoir, Gossip Cop reported.

“They were in a great mood together,” an onlooker told People.com. “They were laughing together – dancing and laughing (and) totally having fun.”

The two, who are said to have been back together since the summer, reportedly cheered and danced every time the deejay spun one of daughter Britney’s hit songs.

A source said they are not remarried, but “back together.”

Shortly after the split, Britney admitted that the end of her parent’s 30-year marriage was actually a blessing in disguise.

“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to my family,” she told the mag at the time. “My mom and dad, bottom line, do not get along. When I was a baby, they argued.”
