
AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Nick Rose scored 18 points and Brady Ohlsen added 14 as Colorado College upset Air Force 60-57 in overtime Wednesday.
The Tigers (1-0), a Division III school, trailed 49-41 with 6:42 left in regulation before going on a 12-4 run to send the game into overtime. In the extra period, Ryan Milne scored on a layup with 2:28 remaining to put Colorado College up 57-55, and two free throws made the lead 59-55.
A jumper by Evan Washington pulled the Falcons (1-1) within 59-57 with 10 seconds left. After another Colorado College free throw, Rose stole the ball on Air Force’s final possession to seal the victory.
It was Air Force’s first loss to a non-Division I foe since falling to then-Division II Denver 63-53 in 2001.
