No. 1 Wray (11-0) at No. 4 Limon (10-1)

Gaskill Field, Saturday, 1 p.m.

It just wouldn’t be a Class 1A semifinal if Wray and Limon weren’t in it. This is the third time in the last four seasons the two will have met in the semifinals, each having split. Both teams were dominant in their quarterfinal victories and should be rested for one another. Wray quarterback Brett Vlasin tossed two touchdown passes last week in Hayden and rushed for 110 yards. The Badgers counter with quarterback Dilan Yowell and running back Brett Schmidt.

No. 2 Hotchkiss (10-1) at No. 3 Burlington (10-1)

Consbruck Field, Saturday, 1 p.m.

The visiting Bulldogs know if they can make the long trip to Burlington and manage a win they will host the 1A title game next week. Hotchkiss showed balance last week against Lyons, rushing for 300 yards and getting 216 yards passing from quarterback Ryan Spor. Burlington was impressive in Byers, using its defense to intercept Jordan Dodge four times and hold Byers to seven points. The Cougars’ balanced run game should keep the Hotchkiss defense on its toes.
