A familiar face to Boulder police led to a quick arrest after a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, Boulder Officer Keith Steinman recognized the robber in a surveillance photograph after the holdup at the Chase Bank at 2500 Arapahoe Avenue at about 2 p.m.
At 8:15 p.m., Michael Thomas Segrue, 29, was arrested at his apartment around the block from the bank on Folsom Street.
After the robbery, Segrue walked away from the bank in the direction of his apartment.
Segrue has a long criminal record in Boulder and Longmont, records show, with charges ranging from habitual traffic offenses to theft, burglary, drugs,domestic violence and menacing.
