AURORA, Colo.—An Australian woman wounded in a bizarre shooting that left her twin sister dead is recovering and investigators hope to talk to her soon about what happened at a Colorado shooting range.
The 29-year-old woman was wounded in head in Monday’s shooting. She has been upgraded to serious condition and investigators will try to interview her Thursday.
Investigators say more than one weapon was involved and more than one shot was fired Monday in the incident at a shooting range south of Denver.
Arapahoe County Sheriff Capt. Louie Perea says the women’s parents were making arrangements to travel to Colorado.
The women are from Victoria state in southeast Australia and Perea said one sister had been due to return to Australia on Tuesday.
