An investigation into the distribution of child pornography has resulted in the arrest of an employee of a medical marijuana dispensary, according to Denver police spokesman John White.
White said that as a result of a joint investigation by the Denver and Westminster police into the distribution via a peer-to-peer network, a search warrant was executed last week at the Remedy Care Center Medical Marijuana Dispensary, 1850 S. Federal Blvd.
White said that investigators had earlier located a computer sharing child pornography files, which led them to the dispensary.
During the execution of the search warrant, evidence was discovered that led to the arrest of a dispensary employee Andrew Kubicek, said White.
Kubicek, 29, is being held for investigation of sexual exploitation of children. Bond has been set at $20,000.
