LINCOLN, Neb. — Coach Bo Pelini doesn’t know, or isn’t saying, who will be the starting quarterback when No. 13 Nebraska plays No. 10 Oklahoma on Saturday in the Big 12 championship game.
Backup Cody Green has started two games since Taylor Martinez sprained his right ankle against Missouri on Oct. 30. Martinez also has a turf toe injury on his left foot.
“We’ll play the guy we feel is going to give us the best chance to win the game,” Pelini said, “and it might be a combination of the two.”
• Sooners running back DeMarco Murray‘s status for the game is up in the air after he left the Oklahoma State game with a left knee injury in the fourth quarter, CBS Sportsline reported.
• Boise State kicker Kyle Brotzman is enduring taunts and barbs on social networking sites after missing two-field goal attempts in a loss to Nevada. Coach Chris Peter- sen said no single person is responsible for the loss and that there is plenty of blame to go around.
• Alabama fired a part-time employee who played songs aimed at Auburn quarterback Cam Newton before the Iron Bowl. The songs were “Take the Money and Run” and “Son of a Preacher Man.”
• Arkansas State football coach Steve Roberts resigned after back-to-back 4-8 seasons, ending a nine-year tenure at the Sun Belt school. Roberts was 45-63 overall.
• Utah assistant head coach John Pease retired after 45 years in the NFL and college ranks. Pease, 67, coached in the NFL for nearly two decades with New Orleans and Jacksonville before retiring in 2005.
FIFA hit by scandal
ZURICH — Three days before the vote on the 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosts, FIFA was hit by corruption allegations when three officials were accused by European media of having received secret payments.
Executive committee members Ricardo Teixeira of Brazil, Nicolas Leoz of Paraguay and Issa Hayatou of Cameroon were named as having allegedly received payoffs from world soccer’s former marketing agency.
FIFA had no immediate comment on the reports.
• The United States drew North Korea, Colombia and Sweden in group play for next summer’s Women’s World Cup. The U.S. is a top seed, as are two-time defending champion Germany, Japan and Brazil. The tournament will be played June 26 to July 17 at nine sites in Germany.

• Disgraced former Tour de France champion Floyd Landis says the use of clenbuterol is widespread in cycling. Landis, who was stripped of his 2006 Tour title because of doping, told German television he knows riders take the banned muscle-building and weight-loss stimulant.
• Cadillac will be the title sponsor of the World Golf Championships at Doral through at least 2016. General Motors and the PGA Tour announced the deal Monday. The sides are also talking about bringing a PGA event back to the Detroit area.
