SUMMIT COUNTY — An autopsy on the Silverthorne woman who disappeared Nov. 22 and was found dead Friday was completed Monday, but no cause of death was released.
In a joint statement, Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson and Silverthorne Police Chief Mark Hanschmidt said the cause of Stephanie Roller’s death is pending because the investigation is ongoing.
They said it may be weeks “before the facts are known.”
Roller was last seen at her home Nov. 22 and was reported missing by her husband, Dale Bruner, the following morning.
Roller, 41, was laid off Oct. 13 from her job with Summit County, according to her family. She filed for divorce from Bruner on Nov. 1.
