ABILENE, Kan. — Kansas-based retailer Duckwall-Alco has announced plans to close its 44 Duckwall stores and reallocate its resources to the company’s 214 Alco stores in 23 states.
Colorado Duckwall stores set for closure are in Akron, Cedaredge and Las Animas. Alco has 13 stores around the state.
