COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES: Gov. Bill Ritter appointed Mines graduate Frances Vallejo, vice president and treasurer of ConocoPhillips, to the board of trustees. Vallejo fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Terry Fox, who was recently appointed to the Colorado Court of Appeals. Ritter also reappointed Adm. Richard Truly to a four- year term.
