ASPEN, Colo.—The family of a man missing for more than a week is hopeful that he is still alive.
Aspen authorities have searched along Colorado 82 and near a bus stop for 28-year-old George Aldrich. He was last seen Nov. 27 on a shuttle bus and was reported missing two days later.
Brooke Aldrich Glasgow, one of six siblings, and other family members arrived in Aspen last week. Aldrich of Newport, R.I., began working as a lift operator at Snowmass Ski Area last month.
Glasgow on Monday said the family hopes surveillance video from the bus will help with the search.
The Aspen Times reports a passenger told investigators that Aldrich appeared confused when he got off in Aspen and said he’d probably have to hitchhike.
