Two Denver city staffers were tapped Tuesday for high-ranking positions in the city’s government.

Jack Finlaw will be chief of staff, and Erin Trapp will be deputy chief of staff. Both are expected to continue in these roles when Deputy Mayor Guillermo (Bill) V. Vidal becomes mayor next month.

Finlaw most recently served as deputy chief of staff to the mayor and was previously director of the city’s Theatres and Arenas Division.

Trapp was appointed director of the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs in 2006.
