Getting your player ready...

For the record: Broncos 3-10, last place in AFC West; Raiders 6-7, third place in AFC West.

Last game: Oakland played in the most entertaining game Sunday before losing 38-31 on the road to Jacksonville. It was the Raiders’ third loss in four games.

Who’s hot: As if memories of Darren McFadden’s three-touchdown day against the Broncos in October weren’t bad enough, the fresh film of him should make the Broncos wary this week. McFadden scored three times Sunday against the Jaguars, all on electric big plays: a 67-yard catch and runs of 51 and 36 yards.

Who’s not: The Raiders have a stingy pass defense, but they have shown to be vulnerable against the run, particularly as they gave up 31 second-half points to the Jaguars. Oakland is allowing 132.8 yards rushing per game, which ranks 26th.

Key stat: 5.2 yards per carry for McFadden this season. He averaged 10.3 and 6.2 yards per carry in his past two games against the Broncos.

FYI: After the Raiders’ dominating victory in Denver in October, Oakland is trying to sweep the Broncos for the first time since 2002. Denver has won its past two games at Oakland.

Coachspeak: “Heck of a game, just too many big plays defensively.” — Oakland coach Tom Cable, after Sunday’s loss
