GRAND JUNCTION — An attorney for a western Colorado woman accused of setting fire to her apartment while her children and brother were there said she is seeking help for mental problems.

Kayla Settle, 22, faces charges that include arson, child abuse and false reporting in the Nov. 19 fire in Clifton. No injuries have been reported.

An arrest affidavit said Settle first blamed the fire on a man in a ski mask and later said she was depressed and started the fire after smoking marijuana.
