Denver police arrested a man Tuesday who they believe is responsible for two robberies in a week.
While officers were near West 52nd Avenue and Tejon Street on Tuesday looking for a man wanted in a Dec. 22 robbery, they received a call of an armed robbery a few blocks away.
Police responded to the area of West 52nd Avenue and Clay Street, where a woman said a man had tried to rob her at knifepoint.
Police soon located the suspect at Zuni Park.
Police have the man in custody for investigation of Tuesday’s robbery as well as for a home-invasion robbery Dec. 22 that occurred in the 1800 block of West 51st Avenue.
